Raw Food Diet – How to Stop Eating Junk and Stop Being Sick – Eat Raw Foods! – Nurse’s Secrets!

If you’ve been hearing more and more lately about the raw food diet or know about it but want to know more, here are some raw food facts you should know.

I’ve been a raw foodist for many years having started on raw foods when I got a breast cancer diagnosis. I turned down chemo, radiation and surgery and pursued a natural route. In the process all of my ailments went away. I also lost weight in the process and all of this in the first month. I had a long list of ailments, including fibromyalgia, arthritis, celiac disease, GERD, IBS, digestive problems, sinus problems, aches and pains and more, too numerous to mention here. But since I started eating raw foods I have never even had a cold or the flu. I take no medications and haven’t had any since before my breast cancer diagnosis.

I only need five hours sleep a night, even though I’ve tried to get more, I have too much energy. Yes and this is all from eating living foods, foods that are not cooked – foods that are alive!

I eat fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds. I eat huge salads. I eat lots of all-fruit smoothies. And I fix lots of simple raw food recipes that take just moments to fix. Many people are finally realizing the connection between what they put in their mouth, what they breathe in and what they put on their skin has a connection with how the body functions and the immune system benefits.

It doesn’t take buying expensive supplements or diet programs either. You can start today just visiting the produce department of your favorite grocery store or whole foods store in your neighborhood. Farms or farmers markets are even better. It’s best to buy organic if you can or from farms that don’t use chemical fertilizers or herbicides or pesticides. But in any event you want to eat as much fruits and veggies and you possibly can in a day, the more the better plus some raw nuts and raw seeds.

If you’re on drugs or medications or have significant health problems you should check with your doctor, especially if you’re on blood thinners. Vitamin K is present in some greens and it’s a natural blood thinner. Grapefruit shouldn’t be eaten with some medications.

If you’re suffering from any ailments now it won’t hurt to try to eat a predominately raw food diet and see how you feel. You should notice more energy, some weight loss and relief of various symptoms, all within a few days. Give it a try. Hundreds of people who are tired of taking drugs and tired of body aches and pains are joining the bandwagon. You can do it too!
