5 Tips For Weight Stabilization

Don’t you just simply get sick of hearing about another new diet? – One that works!

One of the reasons that ‘diets’ don’t work is that they are ‘unilateral’ or one-sided – as opposed to ‘omni-lateral’ or all-sided.

No one part of the body works for itself – least of all digestion.

All parts work for the good of the whole.

In order to attain to any degree of health we must engage in a lifestyle that incorporates the synthesis of all things that contribute to:

1. the maintenance of the building up and breaking down process (metabolism) and
2. conservation of nerve force (electro-magnetism)

A lifestyle which has these two factors as its basis will succeed – in direct relationship to the bodies’ structure / function and needs.

Diet – or more properly considered – nutrition – is the mainstay of our social life – we build our daily activities around it.

And yet even regarding the seemingly grand importance of this aspect of lifestyle – we know very little about our nutritional needs.

o We think, or are led to believe, that breakfast is the most important meal of the day – NOT.
o We are told to drink 8 glasses of water per day – ostensibly to protect delicate tissues from irritation caused by the ingestion of caustic agents.
o Eat 3 meals per day – Eat lots of small meals per day.
o Eat meat for vitamin B12.
o Eat your Veggies for good eyesight.
o Don’t drink with your meals.
o Eat for two when you are pregnant
o Starve a fever – feed a cold.
o Wheatgrass juice protects.
o Antioxidants do this.
o Vitamins do that.

No wonder we are confused.

Look at the following 5 tips for ease of weight control

o Science directs that the size of the stomach (put your two fists together) needs approximately 2-3 pounds of food daily.

o These foods should be divided into approximately 50% fruit, 35% vegetables (raw), 10-15% complex carbohydrates (starch) and 5-10% protein (vegetable protein)

o The human species is without question designed to function at its best on a vegetarian diet – there is no need to eat flesh foods – unless you choose to do so.

o The best time to have breakfast (breaking the fast) is at mid-day – after the cycle of elimination and excretion has finished. At mid-day, the body is ready, willing and able to begin the cycle of digestion.

o Allow approximately 6 hours in between meals to permit the digestive system to build back up to its full quotient of digestive juices so that it can perform its next task with ease.
